Museum Safety Rules & Guidelines
In awareness of the threat posed by Covid-19, the Kaua’i Museum has updated its Health and Safety Standards in accordance with CDC Guidelines. If you have a fever or are experiencing any other symptoms, please stay home. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Mahalo!
When Arriving:
- All guests are required to wear a face mask on Museum property
- Please practice Social Distancing of 6’ and other recommended Covid Safety Guidelines
- Temperature checks may be done prior to guests entering the museum. Guests who have a fever or other symptoms of illness will NOT be permitted to enter.
- Sanitize your hands at the Museum entrance
- Please follow all Safety Guidelines signs and floor markers
Gallery Guidlines
- Availability on Docent-Led tours are limited due to social-distancing guidelines.
- Reservations are required to secure a spot. Email shop@kauaimuseum.org
- Walk-ins by availability only.
- Self-Guided tours are now available
- Do NOT touch or lean on any display cases and/or artifacts
- Stay with your party at all times
Gift Shop Guidlines
- Follow all marked signs and pathways within the Shop (including one-way aisle markers)
- Trying on merchandise is NOT permitted at this time
- Members of Kaua’i Museum receive 15% off all items, excluding Books
